The Gut Check: Your weekly pulse on intuition, strategy, and decisive leadership.
Hi Reader,
Two years ago this month, I hit “publish” on my very first Substack post. It was authentic. It was real. My path wasn't clear. But it was a move.
Since then, I've published 55 articles, 15 podcast episodes, and launched a practice built on one truth:
Small moves, made in alignment, compound into big results.
This week’s Gut Check is a celebration of that power. Showing up before you feel “ready.” Trusting that the next right move - small, aligned actions - are what shape your leadership, your work, and your life.
What's inside this week:
🎧 On the Podcast: How I Turned a Question into a Business
🃏 Corporate Tarot Cards® Pull: Summer is Not a Sabbatical
🎙️ Leadership in Practice: Grace & Grit Series at GIADA
🎧 On the Podcast: How I Turned a Question into a Business: Creating my Focus Gathering
From one move to incredible momentum.
After hitting publish on my first post, momentum started building. Ideas. Frameworks. Possibilities. But momentum without direction can become noise.
That’s when I created my Focus Gathering: a communal experiment where I invited trusted voices to help reflect clarity back to me. That one evening informed the foundation of what I now teach: Corporate Tarot Cards®, this newsletter, the podcast, and Intuition Strategy® frameworks.
🃏 Corporate Tarot Cards®: Summer is Not a Sabbatical
Small moves that make space for bigger results.
Summer is a season—not a sabbatical. You don’t have to do it all. You shouldn’t do it all.
This week’s card is Delegation.
Delegation isn’t just about offloading tasks. It’s a leadership move that protects your highest-value energy. It’s how you create space for strategy, visibility, rest... and results.
✨ What’s one thing you can hand off, pause, or simplify to make space for what’s next?
Summer is a season, not a sabbatical. This week’s Corporate Tarot Card® is Delegation. You don’t have to do it all. Deploy your team. Work smarter. Make space for rest and results. Follow for weekly pulls and intuitive strategy. #corporatetarotcards #delegationtips #summerstrategy #leadershipenergy #intuitiveleadership #focusandflow #tiktoktarot #ceomindset #businessclarity #ambitiousandaligned #leadershipdevelopment #intuitionstrategy
Quick side note: I’ve been practicing what I teach. I'm trying to show up on social (despite the discomfort of it all) and one of my recent TikTok videos hit over 1,600 views and 100+ likes! Small, consistent moves really do compound.
I don't think it was a coincidence that the card I pulled in that video was Achievement 🏅 You didn’t come this far just to come this far.
🎤 Inside the Room: The Grace & Grit Leadership Series
Over the past few months, I’ve had the joy of hosting events at the GIADA boutique in Boston for a series we call Grace & Grit. These gatherings are an ongoing experiment in bringing Intuition Strategy® to life inside a brand partnership.
It’s been incredible to watch this evolve from month to month. A gathering of women leaders, a celebration of GIADA’s beautiful, intentional presence in Boston, a collaborative experience blending frameworks, Corporate Tarot Cards®, and stunning fashion.

These events are a reflection of everything this work stands for: alignment, leadership, clarity, and the power of intentional spaces.
I will continue to do events like this in the coming months and would love to have you there.
Want to join the next one? Click the button to join my event list, and I’ll add you to the invite list when the next round goes out.
It’s a series of small, brave, aligned decisions. The results of these decisions compound over time.
Whether it’s your first podcast, a brave conversation, or letting go of something that no longer fits… you are always one move away from more clarity, more momentum, and more results.
So, what’s your next right move? → Pull a card. → Host a gathering. → Hit publish. → Hit reply - I’ll draw a card for you.

The Gut Check: Your pulse on intuition, strategy, and decisive leadership. Hi Reader, Some of my most formative professional experiences were working on consulting engagements known as Value Based Deals. These programs were intended to provide consulting services that realized actual, tangible, quantifiable benefits for clients (think beaucoup bucks CapEx and OpEx savings for Fortune 100 companies) without upfront payment. This was particularly appealing during the economic downturn in 2008...
The Gut Check: Your pulse on intuition, strategy, and decisive leadership. Hi Reader, I bet you're feeling the pressure. It's time. The clock is ticking... What is your new year's resolution? This time of year, many of us are thinking about resolutions. What are we taking with us from this past year? What will we toss aside to make space for something new? I can’t tell you the number of goal setting, reflective, resolute posts I’ve seen in my LinkedIn and Instagram feeds. Some feel like...
The Gut Check: Your pulse on intuition, strategy, and decisive leadership. Hi Reader, I get asked all the time what it actually means to trust your gut. It’s one of those phrases everyone nods at. Some people say it proudly - I always trust my gut! Some regret not doing it - I knew I should have trusted my gut...Some wonder what it actually means - Is it “woo-woo”? “Bro-science”? Trusting your gut is having the confidence to act on what your intuition is telling you. What I Mean When I Say...
